How much does it cost and how much can I save?

Running on Autogas reduces your fuel costs by up to 50 %. The cost of conversion can be recouped quickly, followed by major savings in running costs. Whilst you consume more Autogas per mile than that of petrol or diesel, around 10%, the significantly lower cost of the fuel is how you achieve substantial savings.

Cost of conversions vary depending on your vehicle. Is it a carburettor model, fuel injection or a catalyst vehicle. Some vehicles require changes to the 'chip' in the ECU module and some do not. The fuel tank requirements also determine the cost of the conversion in that there is a choice of capacity and location. We have a link with a major clearing bank if you require any finance to use our service and we would be glad to introduce you to the service if you require.

Costs of conversions start at around the £800+vat mark so you can see that it is not an expensive conversion when you consider the savings involved.
For companies and Local Authorities, grants are available and you should contact the Energy Savings Trust on 0345 277 200 and ask for a Powershift information pack.
